Support Hikurangi & whānau through chemotherapy treatment for Mehdullohblastoemah.
Otaki, Wellington
Hikurangi is a 5year old boy , he comes from a young whānau and is 1 of 7 kids ages between 10years to 8months old .He is moderately deaf & communicates with sign language. After a fall off a scooter at school 3 months ago doctors discovered a cancerous brain tumour called Mehdullohblastoemah. If it wasn’t for the fall it may not have been detected earlier. He has been through a 6 week treatment of radiotherapy and is currently going through chemotherapy today.
Mum Ira has had to stay home to tend to other children while dad Huaki has had to come away from Work to be by his side throughout his treatments. To alleviate any financial burdens We are seeking any support for this young whānau that may help them through this time ,any donations big or small is appreciated immensely. ❤️
An aunty to Hikurangi. Sister to parents.
All funds donated will be used for any financial assistance needed through his journey .
Latest update 💙 26 August 2024
Hikurangi's journey began July 2023 after being diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a tumor on the back of the brain. He's endured Radiation & Chemotherapy, a few hiccups along the way. Late January early February MRI scan showed no sign of cancer that's was the best news however there was a chance it could return. In June had another MRI scan, we received the bad news, the cancer had returned & is aggressive. The last scan shows that it has worsened from head & down the spine. Our little Hikurangi has 4 to 6wks earthly life before he gains his angel wings.
