HELP THE DOMINICAN SISTERS TO LOOK AFTER THESE ORPHANS!
Auckland
HOLY INFANT ORPHANAGE - MAE SOT, THAI/MYANMAR BORDER:
Run by the Dominican Sisters, the orphanage currently cares for 40 Burmese orphans. In recent times, a number of orphanages in Mae Sot have closed down due to lack of funding. This has put increased pressure on Holy Infant as they are taking extra children who cannot be accommodated elsewhere. Compounding the problem is the expensive cost and spasmodic supply of electricity. To overcome this problem, we plan to install a solar system which will give a 24/7 supply.
We seek financial help to install this system.
An initial quote from a German solar power supplier(www.cnxconstruction.com) comes to about NZ$32000.00 for the installation of a complete system, including pump replacements

I have been involved in the Mae Sot Orphanage for a number of years.
My involvement was featured in the NZ Catholic
newspaper:"https://www.nzcatholic.org.nz/2013/05/02/auckland-parishioner-shows-care-for-burmese-children/".
This setting of give-a-little is part of my help in fund raising for the Orphanage
