Honoring Francesca: A Legacy of Love

It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Francesca, a once-in-a-generation soul whose light touched everyone lucky enough to know her.

Francesca was intelligent, wildly gifted, and overflowing with humor. She was the type of person who could walk into any room and instantly make it warmer, brighter, and more joyful. Her laughter was contagious, her spirit unforgettable, and her kindness unparalleled. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and deeply loved—whether you knew her for a moment or a lifetime.

A staple in Wellington's Fijian and wider Pasifika community, and a proud resident of Suva, Tokyo, and Rouen, Francesca gave so much of herself to others and was responsible for countless good times. Her impact ripples far and wide, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She was a cherished daughter, sister, cousin, friend—and to many of us, so much more.

As we come to terms with this heart-breaking loss, we are reaching out to our extended community to help give Francesca the farewell she so deeply deserves. All funds raised will go directly towards funeral and memorial costs, to honor her life in the beautiful and dignified way she deserves.
