Support Sue's youngest daughter with a koha to help with financial challenges after loosing her Mother to cancer.
Takanini, Auckland
A story of my beloved mother, Sue, who has sadly passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. As the youngest child, I was blessed to have her as my guiding light, showing me what it means to love selflessly, work hard, and never take a moment for granted. She was a single parent who dedicated her life to us, always sacrificing her own needs and desires to provide a stable home filled with love and comfort. Even in the face of adversity, she never lost her spirit or her determination.
In April, when things began to take a turn for the worse, my partner and I made the decision to move from ChCH to AKL to care for her full-time.
As her health declined, the load of caring for her became increasingly demanding. We had to put our work on hold for months and rely heavily on our savings, focusing solely on ensuring her comfort.
Now, we face the practical challenges of sorting through and moving out of my childhood home—a place that has held 30 years of cherished memories. With no life insurance, my partner and I have found ourselves reluctantly having to reach out for financial support.
Your support will help us navigate this challenging period. Every little bit of kindness, whether in the form of a donation or simply sharing this page, is deeply appreciated. Your generosity will not only ease our burden but will also help us carry forward Sue’s legacy of love and kindness.
Thank you, for your support during this difficult time. It means the world to us.
