Help us support pops and his family during this crucial time

Auckland

Kia ora e te whānau,

Our beloved Pops is in a coma at Perth Hospital and is in a critical condition. He’s fighting hard, just like he always has.

Pops is a quiet, hardworking and loving man who means everything to his whānau and friends. His partner, kids and mokopuna are all based in NZ, and the distance has made this even harder. Travel, accommodation and time off work are adding up fast. As the main provider, this has put a lot of pressure on the whānau.

We’ve had many people asking how they can help and wanting to koha. If you feel called to give, it would help ease the financial strain and allow his partner to stay by his side while supporting his kids back home.

Thank you for your aroha and prayers — it truly means so much to us.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
