Learning to be free
20 August 2022Been slack the last little bit as life in this battens house has been super hectic and stressful as late…Summers health has been steady with little new symptoms but sleeping trouble has become a permanent issue now with some weeks consisting of as little as 20 hrs or less!! 😳not fun at all. We have been working with blind and low vision NZ with teaching Summer to use a cane which she is taking to it like the amazing princess she is. Lots of trips and dreams have and are still coming true for our girl with the amazing help from all of you supportive people so thankful 🙏

Back at school
20 June 2022Summer has managed 3half days a week this term also.Her friends and her are loving her being back for a few hours a week. So proud of you Wombat/Princess Monkey we love you

Cane learning time
20 June 2022No updates for a while sorry ❤️Guys life with battens is so very hard 😔.
Summer has been working closely with blind and low vision for a while now learning how to master the cane! She is very excited to do everything she can to become as independent as she can. SO PROUD OF YOU BABY GIRL
