Helping me cover my tuition fees at the University of Otago so I can continue my studies despite financial hardship.

I am raising funds to begin my undergraduate studies at the University of Otago, where I am due to start in late February. My tuition fee is $10,500, and without support, I may be unable to continue my education.

Although I have held a New Zealand resident visa since July 2024, I am not eligible for a StudyLink student loan because I have not yet met the three-year residency requirement. This means I have no access to government funding at this crucial time.

My family is also experiencing financial hardship. My father underwent major spine surgery in December 2024 and is now limited to working only 20 hours per week. My mother works full-time on minimum wage, and together their income covers only basic living costs.

I have worked hard to achieve strong academic results and am deeply committed to pursuing a career in Health Sciences. Education is my path forward, and your support would help keep that path open.

Use of funds

The funds raised will be used to pay my undergraduate tuition fees at the University of Otago, allowing me to continue my studies despite financial hardship and ineligibility for StudyLink support.
