Fire tragedy leaves family devastated. We need your support to help get Paul, Sue and Rebecca back on the road to rebuilding their lives.
Northland
A fire believed to have started in the bathroom ceiling above a light socket ripped through the Jones family home in Wellsford early yesterday morning, entirely destroying it within minutes.
Paul Jones (miraculously the only family member home at the time) awoke to a crackling sound, and was lucky to escape with his life just seconds before the ceiling caved in in his bedroom.
Attended by 13 fire trucks, the family - with only the clothing they stand in, have lost everything.

The Jones family are insured but we would appreciate any support you may be able to offer to help Paul, Sue and Rebecca get back on their feet.
Left only with the clothes they were standing in, we need your support to help Paul, Sue and Rebecca get back on their feet. They have lost absolutely everything in this devastating house fire, and are incredibly lucky to all be alive - especially Paul who made it out of the house in seconds.
All funds raised will help the Jones family begin to rebuild their lives.
