Hounds Needing Help

Nightrave Greyhounds is a recognised greyhound adoption agency supported by Greyhound Racing New Zealand. We rely on their support, contributions from greyhound trainers, and adoption fees from new owners to pay for all the medical needs, food supplies, etc for all the greyhounds we have here looking for new homes.

From time to time, greyhounds need extra help. Perhaps their trainer is unable to pay anything toward their costs. They may have been privately rehomed and ended up in a pound or some other trouble. Perhaps a pet owner is unable to keep their dog anymore or contribute financially, and when the hound returns it is found to have high cost medical needs.

At Nightrave we never turn away a dog due to costs involved. If we can possibly take the dog and give it a safe place and a second chance, we will do just that.

But sometimes we need your help.

Right now we have three dogs in need of support - Beth, Cyndi and Jayjay.
