Restore and rebuild the lost from house fire

Auckland

We are having to restore and rebuild from a lost to a house fire on Canal Road, Avondale Auckland. All of our possession are gone except for the clothing we walked out with.

The fire happened quickly and I was unable to extinguish the blaze, with tap water from the kitchen. I knew at that time I was helpless to getting the fire controlled and asked the children to head outside into a safe zone. From there we watched the house burn. We are uncertain to how the fire started and are waiting on a report. The most important part is we are still together. We are camping at my parents house who live close by and are very thankful to them.

Since the incident, we had had awesome support from our family and friends, but there is so much that can be given or done.

We don't ask for much or a lot, we have always lived a basic life with the necessary things. We would much appreciate the help to get our lives back to normal. We realise that this has come to the most busiest time of year, but a small donation would help us gratefully.

Many thanks for you support
