Ōtaki whānau of 6 lost everything to house fire.

On 12/06/2026 Ashlee and her 5 kids lost their home to a house fire. Fortunately, all the humans and dogs made it out in time but unfortunately absolutely nothing is salvagable.

To add to the misfortune, their contents insurance had lapsed, as it was in Ashlee's mum's name, who passed away suddenly 3 months ago.

They have nothing but the clothes on their backs (and for 3 of the kids, that is their college uniform).

The money raised from this give a little will go directly to replacing their clothes, shoes, appliances, linen, furniture etc.
