With kindness and goodwill to all New Zealand families
Christmas is a time to celebrate with family and friends.
But for many it also heralds an increase in family violence and abuse as families scrape together money to pay rent and pressed together in poor housing struggling to put food on the table.
The Help@Hand Trust https://helpathand.org.nz/ wants to change this and provide support to families leaving violent relationships over the Christmas period to have a happy and safe Christmas.
Together with our partner organizations Help@Hand ensures families are protected from ongoing abuse and have a safe place to live and some special Christmas gifts to start their new life.
New Zealand leads the developed world with respect to Domestic violence and it’s time for all Kiwi’s to lend a hand to help families in need to have a happy, safe and best possible Christmas ever.
Lets show we have BIG hearts and support families who are brave enough to leave abusive relationships and help them start new lives.
Use of funds
To support Domestic Violence victims and protect them against further abuse over the Christmas period and beyond.
