Future Fishing, Providing FREE fishing equipment and lessons for children.
For the children of New Zealand we provide FREE use of fishing gear, FREE educational fishing lessons and a booklet outlining water safety.

The look on a child's face when they catch their first fish is priceless.
At Future Fishing this is our goal, we plan to arrive at wharf's and beaches to provide FREE use of fishing rods and bait as well as FREE fishing lessons. We will also hold FREE giveaways and provide starter pack options for the Future Fishers who have tried, tested and loved the gear.
These packs are high quality and contain:
- 1.5m Telescopic Fishing Rod
- EX2000 Spin Reel (with line)
- Sabiki Fish Hooks
- Fishing Sinkers
- Jimmy's Bait Co (baits)
- Most importantly we provide a booklet, a booklet which covers safety around water, fish species, the sustainability of New Zealand's Fisheries and step by step instructions of how to set up your rod, Tie basic knots and catch a fish.
We hope to get involved with the education system by visiting schools around New Zealand. We would offer educational lessons on water safety, practical lessons on fitting a life jacket and also about our fisheries in New Zealand.
Use of funds
These funds will go to the initial purchase of the fishing gear, the graphic design cost of the educational booklets and to the prizes for the biggest fish of the day. If we exceed our target goal we will ensure that we provide for a larger scale of kids.
