Help us to fund our Therapy Dog - supporting children who have experienced trauma and adversity in our community.

Our Therapy Dog Rocco supports kids in the Palmerston North community. Rocco makes regular weekly visits to schools where he provides emotional support to kids experiencing anxiety, especially those living in adverse situations. We also run a Reading with Rocco programme. Our volunteers support kids across 10 schools. We are funded by grants and generous donations from people who love what we do.
Our volunteers donate their time to create positive experiences and give kids a weekly wellbeing boost.
About us
1:1 Support for children in the Palmerston North community who are experiencing difficulties at school due to challenges at home. Mentoring takes place at the child's school. Any donations help to provide Mentors, training and fund the child's stationery, activities and other educational resources and activities which help that child succeed.
MentorEd is a Registered Charity CC54524.
Use of funds
The purchase and training of an accredited Therapy Dog.
