Mentoring support, resources and opportunities to children facing adversity
Our Mentors work 1:1 with children who are experiencing challenges at home which impact on their school life. We aim to boost their confidence, engagement, perseverance and achievement.
Use of Funds:
To provide material assistance to help every kid who may be facing financial hardship e.g.help with stationery, books, clothing and even food. With your help, where we see a gap we try to fill it. We also need relevant educational resources and training for Mentors who work as volunteers.
1:1 Support for children in the Palmerston North community who are experiencing difficulties at school due to challenges at home. Mentoring takes place at the child's school.
