    • All Whangarei residents enrolled on the electoral roll can vote.

    • Non-resident ratepayers can only vote if they register to do so (i.e., they will not be posted voting info UNLESS they register. Visit the Yes!Whangarei sitefor the link to download your registration form) http://yeswhangarei.co.nz/referendum-can-vote/

    • 10th March: public notices re referendum in local newspapers

    • 9th April: referendum mailing list closes

    • 14th May: referendum documentation mailed to all voters, voting starts

    • 5th June: midday, voting closes

    Thank you to all those people who have donated. The HQ is going well and we have a steady stream of people coming to visit. The majority of our visitors are coming to express their support or ask “what it’s all about?”. As we all return from holidays we will be pushing ahead with engaging with & getting information out to the district....
