    Hunter has had the first of 4 operations. He is now home and recuperating after having his back opened up and rods and pins inserted to straighten his spine. Over the next few weeks he will pick up his guitar and thanks to you he has a new amp and other accessories necessary for rock star growth. Thanks for your support.

    Dear Whanau & Friends

    Thank you so much for contributing to Hunter's Recovery. His appointment last week in Auckland went well and he'll be having his first operation in April, on his back. Once recovered, then it will his chest, and after that his foot. Hunter has been overwhelmed with the number of people who donated for him; he just can't believe folks would do that. Wendy & Antony and I also are very grateful. The tension around these serious operations has been relieved a bit as Hunter can now focus on developing his musical talent through his love of the guitar. Know that YOU helped. THANK YOU!!!!

    Hi guys, Hunter here. I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated, it means a lot to me and has brought me tons of joy. All the nice comments have been helping me build up courage to get the surgeries and I feel I can face the fear now. And a HUGEE thanks to Bonny for setting this up and sharing it ‘round to people instead of receiving birthday cards, love ya Bonny and Pepe. Also thank you everyone else who shared this page around you are not forgotten!

      Dear Hunter ... I'm glad your appointment in Auckland went well on Friday and you will getting your back done in April. You have been incredibly mature about the things that are going to happen; Pepe and I are so proud of you mate. Bonny & Pepe xxxx
