My big brother Adam James Bessell has been diagnosed with Cancer with a few months to live.
Auckland
My big brother Adam James Bessell is a larger-than-life character who has led life to the fullest at every opportunity!
Always looking to squeeze the most out of every day for himself and the people around him, which his friends and family would attest to. For me he has been my rock, always there when needed or off on an adventure that I was quite welcome to come on.... He has always been around diggers and cars, his passion for speed drew him to race HQs, enjoy 4-wheel driving and watch Formula 1 while always making time to watch & support his kids achievements. He has always worked hard to provide for his whanau and friends. His motto has always been to do everything you want to do in life so you have no regrets but fun. He left Aotearoa twelve years ago to go on an adventure with the woman he loves. He has travelled to places, made some amazing life long friends, achieved some personal goals but, always putting his children and whanau first.
Eleven months ago our lives were shattered when he was diagnosed with Cancer. He has fought hard but we have now found out he has a few months to live...
Your donations will give him some piece of mind concerning the welfare of his whanau, especially his youngest daughter Talei, before the inevitable happens. Celebrating the rest of the time he has left including renewing his wedding vows with his wife Melissa and spending quality time with his seven children to make precious lasting memories for those he will be leaving behind.
Adam is my big brother, my hero and inspiration.
Adams whanau is his life and having the piece of mind that they are going to be ok is the most important thing to him now. All donations will go straight to his wife, Melissa Bessell, to support his baby daughter Talei and beginning again.
