I am shaving my hair to raise money for my beautiful friend Nicole

My name is Kylie, and I'm shaving my head in support of my beautiful friend Nicole. At 33, Nicole is an incredible mom to 11-year-old Dejah, stepmom to Drey, and a loving partner to Cory. She's known for her kindness and genuine spirit.

This year, Nicole was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer. Her journey began in March when she discovered a lump. Despite her prompt actions, misdiagnoses and delays led to her receiving a benign result when, in fact, the lump was growing aggressively.

Nicole had the lump removed, which had grown to the size of a tennis ball. She woke up from her ‘1 hr’ op which had turned into a 4-hr op. She was rushed out of recovery as the nurses wanted to get home. (which they openly stated to her)

No- one came to see her to tell her how the surgery went, or what to expect when she took the bandages off.

One week later, Nicole got the news.. ‘I’m so sorry Nicole, but your test had come back with a rare and very aggressive breast cancer’

Nicole’s treatment plan includes 16-24 rounds of chemotherapy, starting Friday. She has been let down by the public health system, and I want to help ease her family’s financial burden during this difficult time. Any funds raised will assist with her treatment costs, travel, and accommodation.
