A Little relief for my sister so she can concentrate on healing 💚

Westmere, Auckland

In 2020 my big sister Sophie (Sophia) bravely beat left sided breast cancer. In June this year after thinking the nightmare was over she was given the devastating news of two more aggressive cancers in her right breast.

Having had major surgery in August, Sophie is now in the midst of 10 rounds chemotherapy before commencing 4-5 weeks of radiation in February 2023.

She is a proud mum of my much loved niece Harlow who is her inspiration to get through this & regain her health back.

Any help will be much appreciated as she has to take leave without pay from her much loved job at Auckland Emergency Department until she is well enough to return.

I feel a little helpless and so hope this will give her and my darling niece a little relief 💚

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
