I can't do this alone! Help me help 30 people about to be made redundant!

Hi everyone!

You might not be aware, but my factory has announced its closure.

This will be at the end of this year, so I have time to do this properly!

All of the staff will be made redundant, although we have a choice to relocate to another plant.

This is not a blame game though, as the support from the company has been way more than I would have thought, and we actually have a good redundancy clause.

However, not everyone has been with us long enough for any effective type of redundancy.

So I am asking, to help me help these people (who are under a lot of stress now) to have just a little bit more to help them get through the Christmas period, as most staff will be made redundant in September.

I will use this kindness to hand out to the staff who do not have a good chance to have a happy, stress free end of year.

The way I will distribute the funds is simple, the ones in need the most will get the most.

The calculation is $188 dollars per workday, to make them catch up with the next lowest, then they both get $188 each, until the next person is reached and so on until all funds are exhausted.

If, by chance there are enough funds to make all the lowest people catch up to the most, at that point the remaining funds will be split evenly.

I will not keep any of this for myself, as I will be donating my redundancy to help.

I am not trying to be a hero, I am just trying to do the right thing.
