Hi everyone, I have just heard back from Auckland , I need a couple more tests done because my output from body in a 24 hr test was only 700ml, in saying that I was at appointments so wouldn’t of been a proper reading! , I also need testing on my eGFR, ( very low kidney function) Will keep you posted once these tests are complete! Thanks all for your support this far❤️

Hi, a quick up date on me, no word as yet from Auckland. But did See my specialist from Dunedin early this week and she commented how well I looked, that’s a bonus I guess.😆My hearts pumping @ 25% so up slightly which is good, Il just keep going as I am with pills and think positively.

Carly and I have a zoom meeting with a couple of the ladies that asses you, when requiring a heart transplant, then from there the group can get together and make the decision that will best suit me. The waiting game.

A quick up date, lots of testing every day , yesterday I had a right side Cath, taking measurements of my heart etc, so hopefully they can find one of similar size to make me beat again. All went well, just very tired and a little tender at the site area.

An up and down day, if u can imagine, being out of your comfort zone sent to a different hospital in a town you know nothing about, Auckland, telling taxi driver where your heading, (bone density clinic) Yes ma’am, do you know where that is? Getting reassurance, only to be dropped off no where near, but together Carly and I figured it out!! Then back to Greenlane for more testing there. No supermarkets in the distance so you ask where they are and told to jump on a bus, or pay for your own taxi, we will tackle that one tomorrow, after more appointments.
A big thank you to all those that have donated or shared my page, the more sharing then hopefully the wider it goes! I’m very great full, Please don’t be shy! Carly and I head to Greenlane for five days of testing, over that time the doctors will decide if I fit the criteria for a new heart and possibly a kidney. My case is quite different to others as I’m a high risk because I’ve been unlucky to have had a 2 strokes, blood clots in the brain, and a heart attack, so please cross your fingers and toes for me.
