Ian's father passed away 16 Feb. As he lived in England, Ian didn't have a chance to spend the final days with him, and due to the cost of the trip was not intending to be at the funeral.
The goal is to get him flights to England to attend the funeral and be with his family at this tragic time, or at the very least help towards funeral costs.
Ian has decided to continue coming into work at this difficult time as he doesn't want to cause inconvenience to our small team with his absence. He is a such a kind and generous colleague, I hope you will show him the same in return by supporting him in this way.
As you can understand this is under fairly time critical circumstances so if you are intending to donate, can I please ask that you do so as soon as possible so he can make the necessary arrangements.
Thank you so much for your support and generosity!

If you want your faith in humanity restored, come and work at FNZ!
Heartfelt gratitude to everyone here who has helped raise enough money for me to go and attend my father’s funeral in the UK - you moved me and my family to tears.
Thanks to you, I’ll be flying off to the London on Saturday morning, 21st, and getting to spend some time with my mother and sisters before the funeral on 25th February. Hopefully I’ll be back in the office the following week, to sort out all the quiz scores!
An extra thank you to my team for being the driving force behind this. Words cannot a really express it, but you are very special people.
All the best to everyone, and looking forward to seeing you on my return.
Thanks again
Ian
