ICDFANZ 2024 Dance Confluence

ICDFANZ is a non-profit organisation; all the leaders are volunteers. At Easter 2024, ICDFANZ is hosting a National Confluence of Christian Dance. Christian dancers from throughout New Zealand and Oceania are invited to come to Christchuch and enjoy the opportunity to dance, worship and learn together. Dates: 28-31 March. Venue: Harmony Church, 220 Antigua St., Christchurch. The recommended accomodation is at the newly rebuilt Give Hotel (formerly YMCA), a short walk from the venue. Most of the tutors are New Zealanders. However, we welcome Mary Jones from Australia, Vera Chierico from U.K. and Steven Turner, who will be live streaming from U.K. We are also honoured to have prominant NZ Gospel singer, Jules Riding, sharing his music with us. All tutors and organisers pay for their own travel. Most of those who attend will be women, of various ages and ethnicities, some of whom will identify as neurodiverse. A number of those wishing to attend are likely to have limited financial resources, and could find travel and attendence in Christchurch particularly challenging.
