iCompete Natural New Zealand Team - International

At the age of 52 I suffered an unexpected TIA (mini-stroke). On my doctors advice I started looking after my health and going to the gym regularly. At 55 I had a bucket list moment and decided to train for, and enter, my first body building competition. After a lot of hard work and help from my coach, and my training partner, and with support from my family, friends, staff, and fellow members, of Les Mils Gym Lower Hutt,.....I won my regional competition for my age class 50 plus, in the completely natural (drug tested) ICN competition.

I also qualified for the National competition on October 14th 2023, and have been invited based on my regional performance to join the NZ ICN team to compete at the Bali International in November. As this is an amateur's sport there is no funding provided beyond a uniform. I have all the financial commitments of a normal working person of my age and the funds for a trip to Bali at this notice I do not have. But, I would love to take this opportunity to represent my country even though I've left it to the age of 55.

I always commit 100% to whatever I pursue, and I'm going to raise the funds to achieve this goal.

I will do the sport and New Zealand proud.

Please help me make it to challenge for the title of ICN Men's Masters 50+ International Body Building Champion.
