    I am so grateful for your generous donations towards Joanne having her teeth extracted and new dentures. A Denture Technician made the dentures for half of the original quote and this amazing dentist offered her services by extracting Joannes decayed teeth for free so there was a little left over which will be helpful as Ken gets less able to keep working due to terminal cancer.

  • Exciting Update!

    We have had the most amazing offer. A dentist in Havelock North has offered to extract Joanne's teeth, after hours in her clinic ...FOR NOTHING! This is thanks to the Denture Technician in Hastings sending her this GiveaLittle link.

    So now we will pay the Denture Technician and fees for GiveaLittle and what remains will help Joanne and Ken during January when the chemo will be kicking in and they will need help.

    Joanne has her first dental appointment next week and hopefully should have her dentures in January.

    We are grateful to each and every one of you.... you have been very generous and compassionate.

    We will allow this to run until 20th December.

    Just a little catchup to say how much your kindness and giving has been and will be much appreciated.

    We know there is a universal law that as you give it will be given unto you...a good measure...

    overflowing and we also know and have experienced how God is faithful in rewarding our giving.

    At this time we need a further $2000 plus the 5% which GiveaLittle take as a service fee. We have been offered discount on the dentures by a very kind Denture Technician and I am hoping to approach

    some of the local Dental Clinics and see if any of them would help to financially reduce the costs for the xray and extraction of Joanne's remaining teeth.

    Ken had his first dose of Chemo yesterday....will try and post a pic.

    I may extend this for another 7 days but I am very aware it's Christmas season and don't want to be adding pressure but Christmas for this family will be clouded with sadness so if you can share the link on your social media that would help me heaps as I am not very experienced at fund raising.

    I thought I will send this to show that I went to a dentist to find out how much it will cost me more or less. This was their estimate price in April this year. I just wanted to show where the money will go towards. Thank you for your love/care and support. My God bless you all.
