Ken and Joanne are in their 40s...Ken has terminal cancer...stage 4.. throughout his body and now spots on his brain.
They have 4 children...they are paying $600 a week rent...Ken is still working...struggling because he has bad pain and due to start radical Chemo...Joanne has diabetes and her teeth are crumbling. She doesn't have enough money to get dental treatment which had been quoted $7000 She isn't eating much because it's too painful and she spits out bits of teeth. Winz won't help because they say they are both working ..well very soon Ken won't be able to work...and Joanne is only in casual employment. Last night Joanne couldn't stand the pain any more...She used a pair of pliers to pull 2 teeth out. She said she thought she was going to bleed to death...it was so bad.Also she talks to the medical profession about Ken's situation ....as he wants to remain positive for his family without knowing how long he has left...She has such a load to carry without other issues on top of this. Please please can we at least get her some help for her teeth and for living costs This young woman is carrying such a load and Ken is worried sick about what will happen to his family when he dies.Thank you so much in anticipation for your giving and compassion.

I am so grateful for your generous donations towards Joanne having her teeth extracted and new dentures. A Denture Technician made the dentures for half of the original quote and this amazing dentist offered her services by extracting Joannes decayed teeth for free so there was a little left over which will be helpful as Ken gets less able to keep working due to terminal cancer.
