IFSC Climbing Youth World Champs 2023
Hi! My name is Dixie and this year I have opportunity to represent New Zealand at the Climbing Youth World Championships in August.

Hey everyone,
As many of you will know I am a passionate 15 year old climber and last year I had the amazing opportunity to represent New Zealand at the Youth World Champs in Texas in the U16 lead category. I have so many memories from this experience including training in world class gyms, meeting and climbing with international climbers, and bringing those learnings back to my climbing community in Aotearoa.
This year I have been selected to compete for NZ again, this time in Seoul, South Korea, competing in the U16 Lead and Boulder categories in August.
Unfortunately climbing is not a funded sport in NZ so I am fundraising towards the $7.5k cost for the trip, which includes flights and accommodation in Sydney for training and then on to Seoul for a total of 3.5 weeks.
Amongst other fundraising activities (I will be selling Dads Pies, more info on my Instagram) I am asking here if you wanted to contribute in some way, no matter the size, even if it is just sharing this page with others. It would be much appreciated!
