Help raise money for iftar at AUT Masjid

Alsalamu alaikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuh With the help of Allah subhanahu wa taala and the generous people from our community, Al Hikmah Trust has been able to provide an open iftar for every night during Ramadan for the past few years

Feeding more than 4,000 brothers and sisters every year. We aim to continue this beautiful project this year despite the challenge of going though the COVID19 pandemic.

Although, we will not be able to host physical iftar gatherings this year. We aim to provide ready to pick up iftar meal packs for our dear brothers and sisters who need it within the CBD area thoughout the month of Ramadan.

Many of our brothers and sisters living within the CBD area are international students that have come from overseas to study here, away from their families, away from the comfort that home and family provide. Let us help them feel more united and at home by providing them with delicious warm iftar to enjoy this Ramadan. Let’s embrace the unity of our Ummah thoughout this holy month.

‎مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ غَيْرَأَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ شَيْئًا

Whoever feeds a person who is breaking his fast will earn the same reward as his without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person. (Tirmidhi: 807)
