Fundraising to create self-led staycation sanctuaries in communities across NZ, where women can rest, heal, and return to themselves.
In a world that asks so much of women, this project offers something rare: a place where she doesn’t have to perform, fix, or hold it altogether.
The sanctuary is a one-woman-at-a-time stay space designed for deep rest, reconnection and emotional healing. It’s for the woman who is exhausted from carrying too much. The mother who’s forgotten herself. The seeker who’s unravelling, rebuilding, or quietly falling apart.
It’s not a Retreat. It’s a Return.
I know how powerful this work is because I’ve lived it. Creating space for stillness changed my life and every woman deserves access to that same transformation.
Our first two sanctuaries are underway in the Wairarapa. One is set up for healing in stillness and solitude. The other invites creativity, joy and sensory reconnection. Both are lovingly prepared with a varied invitations to inner work and creativity, through, books, journals and prompts, healing rituals, body based practices, art, music and more. The sanctuary becomes a part of her healing journey not once, but again and again.
Your donation will help cover the remaining setup costs including furnishing, supplies, creative materials, self led therapy tools and final renovations, so we can open the doors to women in need of rest and in need of themselves.
No amount is too small. Every contribution makes this vision a reality.
Thank you for believing in rest as a radical, healing act and in the power of sacred spaces to change lives.

Funds will go toward completing the set up of our first two sanctuary spaces, including furniture, healing tools, art supplies, final renovations, and creating a deeply resourced environment for rest, reflection and creative reconnection.
