Thank you so much for your donation. Sophia & Harlow are so grateful for all the love, support and care.
Auckland
On Monday 15th of June 2020, my 38 year old sister Sophia was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive left breast cancer. In her words "Im going to be okay, I have to be for my little girl".
Sophia is a solo mum to her beautiful 4 year old daughter Harlow, and she is determined to get her health back.
Sophia had a partial mastectomy on the 30th of June to remove the cancer and surrounding tissue which has now determined the course of treatment. Soon she will start 12 weeks of chemotherapy followed by 3-5 weeks of radiation.
Unfortunately because she works in the emergency department at Auckland Hospital she has been advised that will not be able to work during treatment due to high risk of infection whilst having reduced immunity.
At this stage she is looking at 5-6 months off work however this is a very unpredictable journey.
Sophia would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needs help. Everyone who knows her would describe her as selfless & generous. Please help me to help her now that she needs it most.
Sophia is my older sister , I hope this can help relieve some financial burden for her and her journey.
Funds gifted will help to pay for rent, utilities, transport costs and Harlow's daycare fees while Sophia undergoes treatment.
We got you Sophie 16 September 2020
With love, kindness and gratitude 🙏
