Given by 21 generous donors in one year

I am seeking to raise funds towards the project of Imena Foundation to build 2 new schools in Eastern Zambia. Support Imena Foundation and

Nationwide

The communities of Kapeya and Moyo desperately need a school to educate their children, many of them orphans. Each are to get a school building with 5 class rooms and is to be fitted out for 150 students.

A total of 150,000 Euro is needed for this and I would like to raise NZ$2000 as a contribution from New Zealand.

Update for 10/12/2013  10 December 2013

Thank you all for the wonderful donations towards the schools. I received some news from Imena Foundation. Due to failing crops and the rainy season being 1 month less than normal, the food situation in the Nyanje area in Zambia is desperate and adults and children are dying of hunger. The Nyanje region is where we are going to build the two schools, in Moyo and Kapeya. This is an investment in the longer term and giving a future to those children. However, they need our urgent help now and I am asking you for your help on their behalf. I realise Christmas stress is upon us, but please think about those people who deserve our help and our prayers.
