Help Imogen to live and train in Sydney for a career in ballet

Nationwide

My name is Imogen and I have been learning ballet since I was 4 years old. My dream is to be a dancer, and the next step is up to 2 years full-time training to prepare me to audition for a company. I have been offered a place at some pre-professional schools in Australia, and have chosen to go to Studio Tibor in Sydney.

I am so excited to be starting full-time training. I have finished school up to Year 13, with all my dance training in the evenings and weekends. I have had fabulous teachers here in New Zealand, but it will be wonderful to be able to move into dancing full-time.

My parents have supported me every step of the way, but it is a big challenge for them to fund this training. It's expensive - school fees, accommodation, uniform, shoes (lots of pointe shoes!), costumes, living expenses, travel etc. My family is giving up a lot to make this happen for me.

I would be so grateful for any help to fund my training. Every dollar counts! Thank you everyone for considering giving some help.

(PS Thank you to the wonderful Amber Griffin for her amazing professional photographs)
