Ashlee and Rileys Give a Little
Taupo, Waikato
On Saturday 11th of June 2022 Ashlee Ennis and Riley Sutherland lost their lives tragically in a fatal car accident.
Ashlee just celebrated her 21st birthday just under a month ago.
Ashlee (also known as Shushu by her family) had a real love for life itself. She has always been in to her sports and loved the outdoors. She was an avid rower throughout her teenage years and also played netball and basketball. She loved going hunting with Riley and getting out with their pack of dogs. She was 2IC on a dairy farm and loved being on the farm with the cows. A real animal lover.
Riley was due to celebrate his 21st birthday on the 20th of December.
Riley was a cheeky boy and was always laughing, he had an absolute passion for the outdoors and sports and loved being out hunting with Ashlee and the dogs. He was heavily involved with and played for the Taupo Marist team. Riley worked as an operator for advanced civil and loved driving diggers and machinery.
Riley and Ashlee were both only just at the beginning of adulthood and enjoying what life had to offer. With so much more life ahead of them they were sadly taken too soon, leaving behind heartbroken family and friends.
I am the niece of Stu Ennis
