Barbara's sudden and unexpected passing has been a shock to us all. She is now with her Loving Father and at peace.
Auckland
It is with great sadness that we remember Barbara Allen, my mom, who passed away so suddenly. It does give great comfort though that she is now with her Loving Father to whom she was such a loyal servant.
She trusted implicitly in Him to provide for her and always knew she would be provided for through good times and bad. She had some wonderful friends that He worked through to support her, allowing her to focus on her ministry and caring for others. Their kindness and generosity is deeply appreciated and I pray it comes back to them multiplied.
What very few knew was that Don, her youngest son, worked tirelessly in the background supporting both her and her ministry. He was her daily motivator, prayer partner, IT guy, tech support, cleaner and sounding board. He was the unseen part of her ministry that it could not have operated without. He allowed her to be focussed entirely on the people she cared for.
Her sudden passing, and without a Will in place, has left Don in a difficult position. We should all have planned better for this eventuality, but the truth is we all expected her to be around for many years to come. With accounts frozen for some time, Don needs support until he finds the next opportunity to focus on.
If you feel called to, any contribution is hugely appreciated. Also, if you know of a work opportunity, Don would be fully committed to make it work.
Don is my brother and Barbara's youngest child.
Funds raised will be used to support Don until he is financially independent. Any excess will be tithed to the churches Mom supported and shared at.
