Donation to Nurse Maude
Canterbury
Cheryl sadly passed away on the early hours of the 22nd of September after a short battle with terminal cancer. Although it has been a difficult time for friends and family, it would have been a lot harder if we did not have the support and care from the Nurse Maude association in Christchurch. Everyday, we had between 2 and 3 nurses coming in to look after Cheryl: from giving her a bath or to prepare medicines for her pain relief. They also helped and supported Corrie (Cheryl's husband) during this difficult time.
The Nurse Maude association relies on external contribution to run this "at home care" service making sure that the terminally ill person can die peacefully at home surrounded by their loved ones.
Because of their amazing service and support, we would like to show our appreciation by creating a donation page for Nurse Maude in memory of Cheryl, who was a nurse herself. She might not be physically here but this small gesture will support Nurse Maude and will also make sure that her smile will not be ever forgotten!
Thank you so much for reading this page, for supporting this amazing cause and the Nurse Maude, especially the Canterbury branch (https://nursemaude.org.nz/canterbury/).
All the money raised will be given to Nurse Maude as a charitable contribution
