Raising funds to support charities to honour of the life of John McGillivray.
Paekakariki, Wellington
John led life with love and passion.
In lieu of flowers, to honour his legacy we are raising funds for some of the causes he was most passionate about including the Paekakariki Volunteer Fire Brigade who John proudly supported and who in turn supported John when he needed them this week, the Red Cross who support refugees and the Mary Potter Hospice who supported our family over the years.

Thank you all so much for your generosity in recognition of a wonderful man
The kind words and messages of support comforted the family greatly
John had a heart as big as the ocean and it seems entirely fitting to pass that generosity on to organisations that he loved supporting
We are pleased to have provided donations to the Paekākāriki Fire Brigade (he loved working with you all on the RAT); and Wellington Free Ambulance (both of whom came to his aid when needed); Paekākāriki Community Trust (he would be gutted to have missed the Book Fair!); Mary Potter Hospice (who have provided amazing support to some of our dearest ); and Red Cross (he gave his all to his refugee families).
Thank you
