In Loving Memory of Jolene Curtis
Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui
On the 30th of July, our beautiful Jolene Curtis gained her angel wings.
A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished friend, founder of Riders Supporting Kids (RiSK) Jo was known for her kind heart, infectious smile, and the way she made everyone feel valued.
Jo passed away less than a month after losing both her beloved mother and father on separate occasions. The heartbreak her family is facing is unimaginable.
Jo's heart valves are being repaired in Auckland to save babies born with heart defects, her liver and kidneys have already been transplanted into recipients that were most likely going to die without jo's help
Her vision, passion, and tireless dedication helped build a community that’s brought smiles to hundreds of children across New Zealand.
From organizing toy runs and charity rides to supporting families in need, Jo gave everything she had to make life better for our tamariki. Her legacy lives on in every child she helped, every ride she led, and every heart she touched.
This Givealittle page has been set up by Harley, Vice president of Riders Supporting Kids to support Steve with:
Funeral and memorial service costs
Travel and accommodation for grieving family
Any donations not used will buy toys for Mumma Jo's Toy Run
There was insurance on equipment but not anything else.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Let’s honor Jolene’s beautiful life by helping carry her family through this time of overwhelming loss.
