It’s with heavy hearts we share that our much-loved Dad, Warren Cox, passed away suddenly on 10 Sept. 💔
More than a father,grandad and great grandad he was a man who gave so much of himself — serving with Civil Defence, Community Watch, and volunteering through earthquakes,floods, and fires. His care for others shone through in everything hedid.
We’ve created this page to honour his memory and help with funeral costs (even the most basic service is around $7,000).If you’re able to contribute, it would mean the world and help ease the burden at this difficult time. Every gift, big or small, is a reflection of the love we all share for a man who gave so much. ❤️

Warren Cox Dad Grandad and Great Grandad
He was there offering strength, comfort, and calm through all his volunteer work, His compassion touched many lives, & he will be deeply missed. He was an amazing father I was proud to say was my dad. a childhood full of happy meomories from picnics & going to the beach jumping waves. He loved teaching me how to grow vegtables in a garden and helping others with their gardens. loved fishing and eeling on days he wasnt working. Taking not just me but the whole team to netball, softball or what ever game it was at the time. I never saw him angry and only happy. He loved his tropical fish and frogs and wasnt a time he didnt have them when I was growing up. Had some amazing friends through his life that were there till the end. Will be very much missed by so many

Reopened: For Those Still Wanting to Give 25 September 2025
Kia ora everyone,
We’re reopening and extending this page because we haven’t yet been able to cover all of Dad’s funeral expenses, and some kind-hearted people have reached out saying they would still like to contribute. We had closed the page a little too early by mistake, so this gives everyone who wanted to help another opportunity to do so.
Since we first opened the page, not much has changed other than realising just how much the costs add up and how grateful we are for the support already given. Your generosity, messages, and kindness have really helped lighten the load during this difficult time.
