Russell’s funeral will be held at 2pm, Friday 5 March at Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road Christchurch. A donation box will be available.

On 28 February 2021, Russell (aged 74) passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital with family at his side.

Russell had asked that donations are made in his memory to ‘Special Children’s Christmas Parties’, a cause he supported until his death.

I am Cymon, Russell’s son. Together with his daughters Emily and Charlotte we are carrying this out on dads behalf.

Use of funds

All funds will be donated to Special Children’s Christmas Parties (NZ) Limited for use at their 2021 event on Saturday 20th November at Christchurch Arena in Addington.
