Inara was born with a severely perforated diaphragm and her internal organs developed in the wrong places. Her lungs were crushed and her heart and major blood vessels were in the wrong places. She survived long enough for the doctors to attempt a reconstruction and she pulled through. She will need ongoing operations as she grows and many more scans
