Please help Kylie and her family enjoy the time they have left together, by being together through treatment procedures.
Napier, Hawke's Bay
Kylie was diagnosed on 18th June 2021 with Gastric Cancer and underwent major stomach surgery in Palmerston North DHB on 25th June 2021. Unfortunately this surgery didn't go to plan and she returned to the Hawkes Bay DHB a week later to recover and then started chemo sessions 3rd August 2021 and fortnightly there after up until middle December 2021.
On November 23rd 2021 Kylie woke from a nap to find she had minimal speech which resulted in a hospital visit and was treated as a minor stroke.
Since then Kylie has had an MRI and has been given the results right on Christmas time that there is a small lesion on the brain which now takes her to the next step/form of treatment... radiation, unfortunately this doesn't take place in the Hawkes bay, which would mean travelling to Palmerston North Hospital and time away from home/family and friends help.
Kylie (42) is a beautiful wife to Johno who have three gorgeous children who live in Napier. If you can make any contribution towards this wonderful family who have been dealt an awful incurable disease and limited time, it would be greatly appreciated.
Kylie is my best friend. Funds raised for Johno, Kylie and their children
All funds raised will be used to assist with travelling costs, accommodation, meals for the family, etc.
