Kia ora! Hello = ) My name is Bridget....

I'm a touring musician and former-frontwoman of the Electric Swing Circus (UK). I'm originally from Aotearoa, based usually out of England, but currently on a global tour to launch my new project: INDHE.

INDHE is the new online community platform to connect international creative people with each other and the world. As part of INDHE's launch, I am visiting cities and communities across the globe to not only help people get connected, but to make music and art with them all along the way.

I've been offered a truly special opportunity, to take INDHE into the NPH childrens' home in the Dominican Republic, to get my hands dirty helping out with the home and community AND, best of all, create and record a piece of music with the kids to add to the INDHE record. Help me make it happen, and you'll get a copy of the track AS SOON as it's ready!

To say "I'm excited" would be the grandest of understatements, eclipsed only by how humbled and grateful I am to be invited to be a part of something so special and life-changing.

In true INDHE-style, I am living and breathing this project on the daily, and this opportunity has just come up and is JUST around the corner... so I'm reaching out to my wider INDHE crew to see if anyone wants to help me raise funds to make this visit extra special.

I have booked my flights from NYC so will be going either way, but if I can get help with my airfares and living costs, I will have a better budget for resources and materials to make some music and some magic happen for these kids.

It would be great to bring some simple instruments, like ukuleles, harmonicas, shakers etc with me to leave at the home, and there are always things that the home needs from bigger stores, which I would like to help replenish the stock of (groceries like tea, medication like cough liquid & electrolytes, etc). I leave on the 15th so if we can reach the fundraising target before then, I'll know what my budget is for bringing extra resources to the home.

Kristina from NPH has come into my life at the most beautiful and amazing time, as I take INDHE to the world - my way of combining my love of music and creativity with my desire to bring people together, unite communities and help facilitate people striving to be the best versions of themselves.

I’ve worked a lot with kids, in classrooms and homes, and this opportunity has appeared at the perfect time: I’m in the States for the summer, I have a lot of flexibility in July, I have all the equipment I need to help people make music, and I am desperate to *use my power for good* at every opportunity.

Getting into a community like NPH is a perfect way to bring all my skills and passions together and help make some positive change happen for these kids and their community.
