Indis Cancer treatment
Auckland
Indi is our 8 1/2 year old Siberian husky. Over the past few weeks, with numerous vet visits we have discovered some heartbreaking news. Indi has lymphoma in her stomach. Though this is not curable, the vet is confident that treatment is worth while and will still give her quality of life for an additional 6- 12 months. Eventually we will have to make a heartbreaking decision about her health, but with her best interests at heart and the assurance from the vet that this is a good decision for her, we are now pleading to see if we can raise the funds for her to make this an option. She has given us 8 1/2 years of companionship and is absolutely worth every cent. We have already emptied our accounts to get to this point $4852.00 of tests, Iv's, and medication, and treatment for the next 6 months has been estimated at a further $6000 by the vet. If we are able to raise the funds, indi will go ahead and have a happy extended life. Should we not raise the funds and/or have to make a heartbreaking decision, the fund raised will be donated to Saving Hope foundation in her name to give other dogs the best fighting chance.
The funds will be used to treat Indis cancers and give her an extended quality of life as the vet has recommended. Or it will be donated to Saving Hope foundation should things change for our girl
Thank you so much for your generous donation! I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. Indi is our family, and we don't give up on family. I really hope the treatment helps her to live a normal life for a bit longer yet. She is currently on steroids in the meantime along with anti nausea which has really lifted her mood. I will post updates
Thank you Natasha, our family really appreciates the support. We love our girl and would feel incomplete without her in our family. She also comes to work with me each day, and I can't fathom that without her in the car each morning
Thank you so much! We will post updates on her
Thank you for your help, we are truly grateful
