In Loving Memory of Luke (Laza ) McNeilage ( Melbourne Australia )

This was the moment our hearts were shattered with the devastating phone call, the ultimate tragedy that Cheryl's son Luke had passed away unexpectedly in a Melbourne hospital on Monday.

Cheryl's life was turned upside down with the shock of Luke's passing and had to go through the emotional heartbreak for 3 days in NZ before boarding a emergency flight to Melbourne all alone. ( I wish your sister's and friends could have travelled with you sis xx)

Luke has faced a tough year in and out of hospital and with the covid restrictions having to go it alone was absolutely dreadful, there are no words to express the sadness and helplessness of not being with him.

At this time we do not know when Cheryl can return to NZ (due to no MIQ quarantine rooms available on her return to NZ) but when you do Cheryl your NZ friends and whanau will be

waiting with open arms to hold and support you.

Friends and whanau have been asking if they can send flowers/gifts so I have set up this page
