2021 a Glioblastoma, grade four diagnosis at aged 43 shattered my world. Given 12 months of life expectancy - still brings tears and fear. Married with four school aged children. I promised "I'd do anything, anything to have more time with them (husband and children)."

My courage drawn from the sacrifices my husband and children make everyday, month and year to support my diagnosis journey. Although my mortality will haunt my thoughts, I truely understand how precious life is.

I want to live. I want to contribute. I want to be around for my family and care for future grandchildren! - this is what continues to get me through dreadful chemotherapy, radiation, medication treatments and regular monitoring procedures.

I appreciate my husband Wayne, everyday, for his love and commitment to managing utility bills, school/sport expenses, mortgage and council rates etc every month - juggling often, sacrificing all the time. So I could be at home or hospital, participate in a clinical trial, learn to walk and speak again, present at PREKURE forum or meet with glioblastoma patients; offering my experiences, advice and support on a shared focus to survive while loving life in each moment.
