Intensive Therapy for Indie Rose🌹

I have created this page to ask for support to fund therapy for our beautiful almost 5 year old Indie Rose.

When Indie was 13 months old she suffered a devastating seizure which caused a severe hypoxic brain injury. One day she was our happy smiley little girl who was almost walking and the next we were close to losing her. Indie now can't walk or talk and she is fed through a mickey button.

As parents we are doing everything we can to help indies brain heal, and she has made some incredible progress so far including going from being functionally blind to seeing. Most of the therapy we have been doing is based in Australia as New Zealand is severely lacking in therapy for children like Indie.

The centre of movement arrived in New Zealand from Australia in 2025 and we were lucky enough to have a week of intensive therapy at the Rotorua clinic in August last year. We really want to get Indie into another course before May this year so she can have some more opportunities to use the amazing Trexo walker before it leaves the clinic. The trexo walkers cost upwards of $80,000 each and there is only one in New Zealand.

A week intensive plus accomodation is $5000 which is expensive and not funded by the ministry of health. With 2 other kids to care for we are struggling to raise this money ourselves.

We are incredibly proud of Indie and her resilience so far and we would be so grateful for any help to get her this therapy. We want to give her the best chance we can at a great life ❤️
