The International Women's Day breakfast event is an annual event produced jointly by the Zonta Club of Wellington and UN Women Aoteaora.

For those who register can donate their breakfast cost to Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Trust NZ, supported by Zonta Club of Wellington.

Join the Virtual International Women's Day Breakfast via zoom (FREE), organised by Zonta Club of Wellington and UN Women Aotearoa NZ.

WHEN: Tuesday 8 March 2022 from approx. 7.15am to 8.30am.

There will be a great line up of speakers, including the Minister for Women, the Hon. Jan Tinetti.The theme for International Women's Day this year is: Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow

We will hear from inspiring female speakers from across Aotearoa.

This event recognises the contribution of women and girls around the world, who are leading the charge on climate change adaptation, mitigation, and response, to build a more sustainable future for all.

About Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Trust NZ

"GRG is a registered national charity providing specialised services, advocacy and caregiver education programs to over 5,700 full-time grandparent and whanau care families, empowering them to raise resilient and healthy children and young people who are unable to be cared for by their parents.

GRG’s specialised services are focused on promoting the wellbeing of children, strengthening their whanau and their caregivers, of which over 90% are grandmothers".

About us

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Trust (GRG) provides support services to full-time grandparent and whanau caregivers empowering them to provide a safe, secure and nurturing home that protects and promotes the well-being and development of the vulnerable children and grandchildren in their care.

Use of funds

All funds donated by you through this will be used to support GRG caregivers within the Wellington region.
