Bring Krishna Back Home to Wellington!

$5,625 of $750,000 goal
Given by 23 generous donors in around 3 months

Help ISKCON Wellington renovate its new temple and restore darshan, kirtan, and spiritual life for the community.

Wellington

For the first time in decades, Krishna has no temple in Wellington.

No darshan.

No kirtan.

No spiritual home.

Since the closure of our previous temple in 2024, devotees have been without a sacred place to gather, worship, and serve.

The absence has been deeply felt.

But by Krishna’s mercy, a new home has been secured.

A property has been purchased and approved as a place of worship.

$2.5 million has already been contributed by devotees worldwide.

Now, $750,000 is needed to complete renovations and reopen the temple.

🛕 Your contribution will help create:

* A sacred altar for darshan

* A temple hall for kirtan and festivals

* A kitchen for prasadam

* A space for youth, education, and community

This is more than a building.

This is Krishna’s home.

And wherever we are in the world…

this responsibility belongs to all of us.

⚡ Please act now

🙏 Donate today and help reopen Krishna’s doors.

Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer.

We are now trying to raise the next $100,000 in the coming weeks to keep the project moving forward.

About us

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
