I am currently in Starship hospital in the paediatric intensive care unit on life support for respiratory failure.

Hello

My name is Isla and I entered the world at 26 weeks gestation and I weighed a tiny 480 grams.

I had a very hard start to life and spent the first 4 and a half months in hospital. It has been a very rough road so far.

I have been in and out of hospital a lot in Auckland, Tauranga and Hamilton.

I am currently almost 3 years old and find myself in hospital yet again.

I am really sick for the second time in 3 months. Both times I have been put on life support and been air lifted to Starship hospital.

My parents have just recently started new jobs and don't have any sick or annual leave owing. This makes things like bills really tough to pay. Especially when we are having to stay in another city for long periods of time.

We have great whanau support but we would appreciate any sort of monetary support for bills as well.

We know you all have your own stuff going on but if you could spare anything we would really appreciate it.
